In 1938, our grandfather, Toader Copaci, built the first wine cellar, laying the foundations of a winemaking tradition meant to endure for generations.
Our father, Tomiță Copaci, carried this legacy forward, preserving the sanctity of the winemaking craft. Today, we — the Copaci brothers, Mihail and Gabriel — continue this passion, blending the tradition of aging wine in oak barrels with modern technology to create authentic wines full of character.
From the heart of Vrancea, "Copaci Cellars 1938" – or "The Vineyard of Noble Trees" – brings a diverse collection of refined white wines such as Șarba, Muscat Ottonel, Sauvignon Blanc, Fetească Regală, Italian Riesling, Tămâioasă Românească, and Chardonnay; elegant rosé wines from Merlot, Fetească Neagră, or Busuioacă de Bohotin; and intense red wines from Merlot and Fetească Neagră.

The Soil with a Soul: The soils of Jariștea are a complex blend of clay, sand, and limestone, enriched by sediments carried by waters that have shaped the landscape over the ages. This varied composition gives the wines a distinct minerality and a balanced structure, faithfully reflecting the character of the place. The vine roots reach deep into the ground, extracting the very essence of the earth.
The Balanced Climate: Subtle Mediterranean influences meet continental ones, creating an ideal microclimate.
